Description A raven resides in my ribcage.
His beady murky eyes stare and cut,
through my soul.
His feathers entomb and drown,
my heart like tar.
His screech resonates throughout,
my skull and my senses.
His presence so harsh and foreboding
I crave for release
To be "nevermore".
