Description
I was really bored, and after seeing so many others do it, i figured i'd give it a go. It was actually a lot of fun to map out my influences, i delved deep into what had inspired me throughout my time as an artist.

The top black and white image: Ikigami, a little darker on the darker side. While i cant say the art was in my favorite style it really brought out the darker side of my art, not that you've seen any of it yet (still need to upload)

Little red/ pinkish icon at top: Insanity, I've seen and read a bunch of things about insane people. Deathnote is an example, as well as allelujah from gundam 00, sasuke from naruto, gotta say i love the clinically insane. Mental disorders and twisted thinking are so much fun

Top drawing of two men with blue sky background: Kekkaishi!!!!!! Some have had to have heard of it, i watch it on adult swim every sunday morning! Thats yoshimori, the main character, and his brother masumori. I love yoshimori's personality, he's so childish and irritable but when it really counts he's level headed and serious, even using his brains. Masumori is the opposite of yoshi. He's usually serious and definetely plays the i know more than you so listen to me, big brother act. Yoshimori really hates him. But masumori just tries to look out for him. He can be a bit of a smart ass and really silly almost acting like he's drunk when not in the company of kekkaishi. At least some of their traits show up in every character i create. Their personalities are just the best!

Fma, winrey and edd at the top: Ed reminds me a lot of yoshimori, funny cause their voiced by the same person Short tempered, hate being made fun of or coddled, cant follow orders or bring others into it. They don't want to see anyone get hurt. I love ed's back story, his cockiness, and his shortness. Another plus is that awesome hairstyle! Once again his traits seem to get mixed into my characters. Winry is super cool cause she's such a strong girl! If you ever see the flash backs she was sweet but a little hot headed and now she has an explosive temper. I love that she's a mechanic and her outfit are very cute. I like her hair as well. One of my favorite parts of her role is when she hits ed over the head with her giant wrench. All of my girls are strong willed like her but they usually have a softer side as well. They also hit people over the head with things when they get mad I love her piercings, they really complete the character.

The stamp right above the fma peeps with the purple haired dude: what can i say, ive grown to love purple hair ever since first spotted in digimon and ive been inspired by other purple hairs ever since!

Next to the pic i just described at the top, the very top smallish picture with the girl with the blackish brownish hair: Shakugan no shana's very own shana. I love her hair that changes from red to blackish brown, how thin and scrawny she is, and how simple but deadly her sword is. I love her hair style. I also like her cuteness and her childish looks and mood swings. How at times she's so grumpy and powerful but at other times she's vulnerable and weak. The whole fire and feathers theme rocks. Id like to make my characters bodies more like hers. A lot thinner and scrawnier. I'd like to make their hair more like hers as well.

Below that is mars from pokemon: Although i didn't actually like her in the anime, she kicks ass as as a stand alone character. Gotta love her looks I'm a sucker for red hair. Plus i loved the whole cyrus mars pairing. She's the only one who missed cyrus after he died/ was put in prison? Can't remember...I love her character design and her over all personality, cant say how exactly she influenced me except in hair color and personality. Love those leggings of hers!

Below the picture I just talked about is one in black and white: It stands for powerfull emotions. Particularly hatred, pride, despair, pain, and of course, insanity. My favorite emotions to play with. As i've been exposed to more deviations and shows/books with these factors they've shown up more and more within my writing and drawing. They almost always fuel my characters and usually their back stories have a lot of at least one of these emotions in extreme. I'd say mostly a lot of pain. It makes for a good character. Heck even my magical girls aren't all that frilly and happy

Next to those three thumbnails is a picture of a woman with blond hair and a blue military outfit: Riza hawkeye from fma. I love her hair!!!! And of course, her personality. I love how serious she is and how loyal. I love how she has a crush on mustang and acts like his nanny. Plus she 's great with a gun and pretty! Not a bad scientist either Since i saw her, my characters have had a dominating presence and wont take know for an answer. They also put their hair up like hers. They fire guns too!

Below that is a grey thumbnail with black streaks and small Japanese writing: It stands for katana. I've always thought they were the coolest things. They show up in almost every anime, from bleach to love hina. Ever since seeing this weapon all of my swords/ anything related have had at least something to do with a katana if not actually possessing one my characters have had something to do with them in their story. Its the best weapon ever!

Next to that is a persons profile: It stands for my love of physical deformities. Round monster eyes, scared faces, fangs, no mouth, no face at all, no ears, no nose, no eyes, clawed hand and feets, ripped up bodies, cut out tongues, longs huge never healing wounds, giant holes and birthmarks. What can i say, my characters are always interesting. After watching anime for about a year im obsessed with making my characters unique. After seeing the arrancars holes and blood+ monster hands as well as many others, i have had a strange compulsion to give them uniquebodies of their own.

Best series ever (next to hell girl and ghost in the shell) The story line is pretty straight forward but the way the characters interact is convoluted and the twist and turns are unrivaled. The characters backgrounds are beautiful and believable, it's simply a work of art! Ever since i started watching this I've been pushing myself to create a more complex and believable manga. Every time i have a plot problem i think what would gundam 00 do in this situation?

Big group of girls in black dresses: The girls of bleach!! Strong, curvy, beautiful eyes, witty, intelligent. All traits i like to put in my characters. After seeing bleach i redefined my oc's. Rukia's whole character design has been a big influence as well as yoruichi and soifon's relationship. I especially like how small and scrawny rukia is next to the others! I love how yoruichi sounds like a boy when in cat form and her strait forwardness and fighting style. She wears awesome clothes and i love purple hair!!! I also like that she's darkskinned.

Below that is pokemon girls!: Cant say i actually like them in the anime but i loved dawn and especially may's character design. I like how people draw dawn and the dawn x cynthia shipping. They'd make a great couple. Anyways i absolutely love mays outfits and her hair is just love. Misty would have been so much cooler as the main character. Anyways i don't like how they are portrayed in pokemon because they are so simple and plain. But i love how other artists portray them and this pushes me to make my characters awesome and detailed. Not one sided or too two faced. Their lines need to be blurred together. Just like good and evil.

Next to that, digimon!: My first every anime i watched digimon frontier where they transformed with their digimon. The design was great and i still watch to this day even thought it's a little childish. Way better than pokemon for sure! I especially love all the cool digimon designs and those stupid digivices. Whenever i have to create a new animal or even human character i look back on digimon for advice. And with technology their is always something that looks remotely like something out of digimon Loved those darn crest signs!

Next to that is emos!: Ever since sasuke from naruto and shun from bakugan ive been inspired by emos. Emotionally unstable people with died hair and a thing for darkness are any manga artists dreams! I always trie to have that one emoish character in their now. They always have a tragic or dark past with lots of blood oh and most girls flock over them

Next to that is neopets: The site ive been off and on since i was seven. That was one of my first exposure to anime/manga artists except from tv. It was the first time i made up stories for my characters and learned to code. Id say from their i found my way to da through other da artists who go on neopets. I get some of my ideas from the neo nutjobs of my childhood. From wockies to doctor sloth. It outscores webkinz every time. I also was inspired by the things ive read on their newspaper.

Next to that is maximum ride: pretty awesome for a comic. I love the plot and i think it's really cool that it was a book first. I pulled some of my characters personalities partially from them. I love the whole group set up. I take the most from fang, angel, and maximum. Gotta love fangs purple hair.

The white writing below that: The seven deadly sins, i love what they are and i love making my characters full of sin and awful emotions. THese peeps have really inspired my bad guys as well as some of the not quite sure what side their on characters. I love making my characters almost the embodiment of one of the seven deadly sins!!!

Uruhara, the awesome jack ass from bleach. Gotta love him. Cant get enough of his matter o' fact attitude and amazing attire. The cane sword is a bonus. My outlaws have never been the same.

His character design is the bomb and ive tried some of that too. the whole doll story has also really enspired my story "puppet master".
