I wasn't talking about christmas I was talking about winter Solstice. Which is a pagan holiday. I know because the main religion where I live is wiccan and they've been throwing parties all over the countryside all day. Thus a very pagan holiday.

Lol nothing to be sorry about. Honestly it's great, i'm not even a wiccan but because we're in the area We're getting all these harvest gifts, we let them have a boomfire down in our field and they brought us this HUGE hamper of beautiful apples and this weird vegetarian meet. It's actually rather beautiful, there's a whole ceremony like you would not believe and they burn this strawman guy. it's sort of ended now but theres still people out there singing and it's so dark out you can see the other campfires for miles around.

Not to burst your bubble, but I'm not a Christian. Don't wanna be mean, but I accept everyone's culture so long as they don't hurt the people I love whether they believe in magic or not. Honestly, the magical side of Wicca is far from sinister and the people are downright charming. Even the Satanists in the area are fine. The religious diversity here used to lead to conflict, but with a little education on each religion everyone learned to live in peace. Sure4 the occasional paddy will come and call blasphemy and all that jazz, but most of the time everything here is nice. So please don't talk about 'magical control' because they aren't liked that.

Why do think they used to burn witches? Because people just didn't like them? Sorcery is real and is not something you want to dabble in. Trust me on this.
Of course they want you to think they're all nice and the kindest people and all. Yet I know firsthand that my brother tried to sell his soul, and only ended up contracting schizophrenia.... And my X once practiced wicca and has invited all kinds of crud into our lives because of it.

Not to insult you, but how can you say that the Christian god is the one true god? How can you put your god above every other religion? Especially since compared with most belief systems Christianity has a quite sinister air about it. I've read the bible cover to cover and afterward I knew I could never serve such a god. Someone who was so insecure he'd hurt you for not worshipping him? or would kill hundreds of thousands of people for pretty petty reasons? Even if the bible is 100% true and we all lived happily along with dinosaurs in the garden of eden until a talking snake tricked us into eating a magical fruit that gave us knowledge (thus ticking off the god who already knew this would happened and put this tree right in the centre of his garden) and getting us all kicked out and all women will suffer because of Eve mistake. You know and dragons and unicorns and boats as big as the titanic fitting every animal in the world and all lions used to be vegetarin. Like lets just say all that is true-Why worship a god who clearly can't make the cut in most circumstances and basically will make you suffer WHEN you fail? And it is when because living without sin is frankly impossible. I like bacon, I plant different seeds in my garden, I have homosexual friends, I wear more than one type of fabric at a time-I'm already hell bound and I can't sincerely say that I am sorry for any of those 'sins'.

Sure I'd love to believe theres magic in the air, but even most of the wiccans don't actually believe in the magic it's just tradition and it's beautiful. These people are free of contempt based on religion, they never try to convert anyone to their ways. Honestly, I have only ever been hurt by Christianity. It is the only religion that has ever caused me harm and the only religion that has resulted in the death of a friend. So I do not elevate the christian god above any other and if I am wrong I will not regret it because I could never take the side of such an entity.

Jesus Loves you. You only need accept that. If you don't It's not my problem, if you don't feel the Same way about him. People suffer and die. It's a fact of life. The ones who suffer more are the ones who place importance on them self before others. If you know anything about me, you'd know I'm quite the opposite.

Jesus was just a man, I don't mind if he loves me. It's his omniscient homicidal father that worries me. The only people that suffer and die place importance on their self? So newborn babies? Rape victims?or how about my friend Oakley? Tortured to death by Christians and made to feel worthless? But he loves me? With friends like that who needs enemies?
