Thanks. I just started getting into sketching in larger formats after several years of just doing digital work. A bit messy since newsprint does not hold the charcoal well, but fun none the less.

Yea, I use a fixative as I layer the work, it's the charcoal powder that does not stick to the newsprint while I am working on it that gets everywhere. I'll end up buying some paper with more tooth in it soon. For now, I am using newsprint to reacquaint myself with the mediums.
