Description WOOOO! Finally finished my A2 Art Exam! I still have my coursework and presentation of my exam prep to do, but that's not too much This piece is based around the theme of conflict, and is supposed to represent what happens when we have too many formed (completed drawings), half formed (toy soldiers, paper Dragons and chain half in the rainbow) and almost non-existent (rainbow splat) ideas swirling around inside our heads, all clashing together, which is basically what cognitive dissonance means. The completed drawings are supposed to represent ideas I've already had, the paper Dragons and shizz are supposed to represent ideas that I've kind of had, and the rainbow splatter around the rest of it is supposed to represent the place that ideas are formed from. The blank space in the centre is where all the ideas are trying to get to to become the final idea)
This took 15 hours (13 1/2 as I finished early) to complete, and was done using a variety of media : The horse was done with chalks, the dragon eye (which took 5 hours *sobs and holds hand*) in coloured pencils and the petals in paint. The rainbow splat was done on a large piece of MDF with poster paints, and the rest of it was just miscellaneous stuff.
I'm so happy with how this turned out, though it does have to dry now XD

this is amazing, even though i'm kind of ignorant understanding art, i can see the chaotic vibes XD when ever i see art like this, it makes me regret not choosing art a-level
i hope you'll get the grade you deserve ^^
