DreamingThe pillow soaked with salty tears
The sheets crinkled in silent frenzy
The blanket tossed into a corner
And a curled-up silhouette in the middle
She's lying there night after night
In a silent battle with sleep
Rapid eye movements between fluttering lids
Ragged breath and scarcely breath at all
A tangled mess of hair as a nightly veil
And a woman in foetus position in the middle
She's lying there night after night
In a silent battle with life
Whispered words and clawing hands
Strangled screams and kicking feet
A whole new life between these sheets
His mouth and tongue against her lips
His teasing hands against her hips
Sweaty skin against goose-bump skin
The sound of crackling energy between sheets
He's playing with her all night long
But once she opens her eyes he's gone
She's dreaming of her lover
She's dreaming of his wife
Dreaming of her dreams and their life

hmmm... okay, i'll give some explanations but i want to know why you want them and i'd like to know what you think the poem is about.
basically it's about a woman who dreams of her lover at night and can't sleep because of that. she can't have him because he already belongs to some other woman but she dreams of them making love. she tosses and turns in bed and imagines and suffers while dreaming about them together, so it's quite a nightmare.
i wrote this poem because i wanted to show one side of cheating or thinking about cheating or imagining having somebody you can't have. there's no personal experience in it but a lot of imagination, and the way the person suffers and moves at night is quite real, i think.
