Time to change
When I look toward the horizon
I can see a dawning day
Promising new hopes and sorrows

Time for my redemption
Singing the anthem of infinite love
Replacing old feelings of captivity
With a differently limited freedom

A new life awaiting me
A familiar world re-appearing
Memories destined to fade
Lingering on in the dusk of my mind

Nothing holding me
Just a touch of past emotions
Don't want to cherish them
Don't want to fall into oblivion

Treasuring my privacy
The rain washing away my personality
Sensing this insecure security
Making me cling to my faith

Believing in my sanity
Believing in the constant pain
The only thing so real in the realm
An end everything but final

In my ears I can still hear
You whisper to me you need me
My eyes are focused on a new life
Being reborn robs me of my past
There's a beginning to every end
A time when you are one with yourself
What I am now and forever
Is not what I used to be for you

Time to lie to sleep
Time to wake you up again
In my own corner of your heart
I'm building up a new existence.

*Sigh* With each day brings the new, and with the new we should let go of the past, and with the new, comes the change, and some things are never the same..

(I don't know if you are intending to do so, but your writing digs up things in my mind I thought I'd forgotten.. Words trigger memories, I guess..)

seriously though, that's what words do all the time, especially when they're part of poems or stories or something else that you consciously read.

*nods* And once you get into a psychology class it gets even weirder x.x (A cousin of mine is taking one and loves to tell me what stuff means. It's quite interesting, really, getting that deep into what thoughts and actions might mean.)

*nods* I think I might take a class like that when I'm in college. It sounds really interesting and maybe something I could make a lot of money off of. The psychologist I was seeing for a while I paid over two thousand dollars for a week. I would love to make that kind of money..
