Language problem

Wordless.

Speechless.

Senseless?

Languageless!

My poetry has lost rhyme and reason
My muteness seems like crime and treason
Letters dance before my inner eyes
Enticingly, I'm spell-bound by them
But I can't even spell a single word
My every song is lyricless
My whole life story punch-line less

Open your mouth!

Spit it out!

But how can I shout

When there's so much doubt?!

My prose has lost all its glamour
Has become mere stutter and stammer
My chain of fluency, my umbilical cord cut off
Disconnected from the womb of language
No more syntax to my sentences
No more context in the story of my life

Language problem...

There's so much to tell and to ask
But talking's become a difficult task
Times were when I mastered language
Even times when language mastered me
Those were times of trouble and joy
At least times of communication

Languagelessness

Leads to

Communicationlessness

Communicate!

Any way, any how – now!

And if only you let your heart do the talking
If only you let your gaze penetrate and look
If only you let your hands gesticulate freely
Then you've had your share of
Communication
As silent as it may be
I understood you, I understand

We're never really languageless.
