They are daunting me flauntingly
They are taunting me, haunting me

Visualize these viciously vivid visions
As they creep and seep, penetrate real deep
As they torture me though I don't nurture them

Materialize these menacingly morbid memories
As they talk the talk, stalk and walk and the walk
As they persist and insist though I try to resist them

Reanimate these roughly realistic recollections
As they speak and sneak, turning you into a freak
As they infiltrate me although I don't integrate them

Off and on
Once in a while
More often than not
I am visited by visions
I am molested by memories
I am ravished by recollections
They are flirting with me dirtily
They are hurting me, asserting me

Here a mirage to the inner eyes, there a vision for the outer
Now illusions keep disillusioning me, alluring me reassuringly
Then the magic is gone ever so fleetingly, fleeing me repeatedly

Here a moment to reminisce, there a memory lost forever
Now the recognition of a familiar face, a quote heard before
Then confusion finds its way and winds its way into my head

Here a flash of recollection, there a piece of reconnection
Now a strike of flash-back, like a sudden stroke of lightning
Then a gauze veil of darkness, overshadowing the silent thunder
