Description
This is a necklace my sister wears from time to time. A "diamond" was missing, so I edited it a bit with Photoshop... I hope you can't see it
EDIT: Edited the frame, cause the old one sucked... And I made the whole pic a bit warmer with editing the colors from b/w to kinda sepia...

Aw, i was picking meaning out of it that wasn't there.
I will still pretend it is a conceptual piece and go on happily with my life.
It's still a great shot, though. Is the edited diamond the one on the far far left on the arm of the cross? The Middle focus is really good. yay.

Well, I was thinking the commercialised glamour Christianity seems to have tacked onto it recently (in the scale of 2000 years anyway), via televised Evangelical sermons and the obvious Christmas/Easter/Halloween holidays which have been exploited for monetary gain by companies, and even the Cross itself, turned into something that makes you look cool whether you believe in it or not.
Meh.
But it's a pretty picture nonetheless.

Well of course al the gangtsars around the world, for excample 50cent always wears a cross... And so all the other gangstars do it aswell... If they believe in God or not is not my problem... This cross on this pic is the one of my sister, and we are evangelic... What is actually a minorit in Austria. And we both believe in God, Christ and the holy Spirit... Well it is not just a picture... There is a meaning behind it

Depth of Field / Bildtiefe... Kurz gesagt: der Bereich des Bildes der scharf is. Bei Macros zB sollte man den Bereich der UnschΓ€rfe relativ groΓ machen... Oder so... Is ein kompliziertes Thema... Vllt kann die da coxi das besser erklΓ€ren

What a great picture!
I really love the reflections of the diamonds on the cross - and also the contrast between the hard and dark lines of the cross, the shiny stones and the blurry background.
