This is some old work i just found.What do you guys think?
Done in 3DS Max, with Vray
Render time: 59 Secs.

The hands havn't been posistioned properly, the scythe doesn't look that special.
Character and background blend nicely, the skeleton though somehow seems odd anatomically.
Keep at the details.

Thank you for your answer, and i think you're right on everything.
I found the .max file and just render it without any modification, so, maybe i'll work it a little and repost it. I dont even know where did i got the skeleton or if i did it myselft, just cant remember.
