After a month-long hiatus, and with the reveal of Pokemon Sun and Moon, I wanted to make my own interpretation of this new 'Red Crested Cardinal' Pokemon.Hope you like it

I get thats what you where basing it off of. And I think it looks really good. But that Pokemon from the Nintendo Direct isn't based on a cardinal. It has much more in common with Woodpeckers.

This design when I drew it is still based off a Red crested cardinal. So even the evolution will follow the same pattern I imagine
