I think the design is kind of cute body head and horns are well done, still, the eyes kind of terrify me O_o
and I would support BT-YGO 's idea with the backspike.

It looks good for the most part but its head is too big in relation to the rest of the body so... no. However, still looks cute.

Considering it’s supposed to be in a more modern generation style, the head being large fits. Take a look at the more recent starters, especially those from Sword/Shield — the heads make up a large part of the total size.

It’s not my design, friend. Just explaining that newer designs tend to have larger head/body ratios, so it’s understandable that this is the route DevilDman took the redesign.
