Pokedex Info: Mayhound are playful yet quiet canine Pokemon who love nothing more than lazing about and soaking up sunlight. When excited, they release spores into the air that may trigger sneezing fits in more allergenic people. When packs of Mayhound migrate to swampy areas, they roll in the wet grass and begin growing fungus on their bodies, evolving into Sporzoi.Β
Some Mayhound trivia:
-Mayhound evolves into Sporzoi at level 30 with a Big Mushroom as held item
-Although Sporzoi is a mushroom-esq Pokemon like Parasect, Breloom, Amoonguss and Shiinotic, it has a much higher Speed stat (base 120) along with its access to Spore, making it a potential threat. It's sort of like a Grass type equivalent to Arcanine or Houndoom. Like the Twiggle line, it also learns Leaf Fang.Β
-A new male Grass type specialist trainer class "Florist" seems to like using this line but its also popular with Gentleman trainer class.Β

It's an interesting PokΓ©mon, perhaps instead of Leaf Fang, how bout a more less obvious name move like "Floral Fang"?

Leaf Fang/Floral Fang is basically the Grass type version of Fire Fang, Thunder Fang and Ice Fang (65 Base Power, 95% accuracy with 10% chance of Sleep).Β
Mayhound/Sporzoi are pretty solid Grass type Pokemon, having a base 120 Speed and access to Spore but if faced by the likes of Crobat, Abomasnow, any Flying type with Insomnia to nullify Spore or most Grass/Poison dual types (Roserade, Amoongus, Vileplume, etc), it will most likely struggle against them (It CAN learn Aerial Ace to counter them and U-turn to switch out but its too frail to withstand a supereffective STAB Sludge Bomb from the aforementioned without a Focus Sash. The Mayhound line has terrible Sp.Def).Β
A typical moveset for a Sporzoi would be Spore, Leaf Blade/Floral Fang, Crunch and Synthesis.Β
