You can’t find a place

You try to awake
But there is no help for heavens sake

You want to rest
You think it would be the best

You think about life
Then you remember the knife

Holding it in your hand
Trying to stand

Then you think it is a joke
Then you see your veins broke

You want to die
But you don’t know why

You’re floating through the air
You try to call but no ones there

You remember the fun
You hate it that it could all be done

You hear a beeping
Then you realize that you are just sleeping

Your clock is going off
Then you start to cough

You think about your mom
She calls on the intercom

You run down stairs
She runs her fingers through your hairs

You give her a kiss
And she asks what is wrong little miss

You tell her nothing
Then the egg timer dings

You ask what is up with the timer
Then you smell primer

So here’ s the lesson
Don’t go messin

Or playing with knives
Until you think of the impact it will have on others lives
