She and her predecessors have inspired numerous tales including one well-known tale written by a famous Danish author. Shira-Yuki is able to manipulate cold, creating snow and ice. She has even been confused for the Kyubi no Kitsune, the nine-tailed fox spirit, due to her long braids.
