You're welcome. I was just looking at your latest submissions, and you have a great eye for shape and form. The architectural images are just great and very well done. I'm glad you're enjoying the 400mm. I hope that shooting birds doesn't get too addicting. You should try concealing yourself in a small portable hunting blind near a feeder. You would be amazed at how close they will come to you. A close friend used the same lens that you have at our feeders and got some incredible images. The birds were actually perching on his blind.

oh i'm already in danger of this! i have a zillion new ones since getting this lens and already was into bird watching and i so GET what you mean by obsession/hiding/get closer. will share another one right now shot this morning. oh to get a blue jay!

Blue Jays are a major PITA. They are very, very quick and rarely come to a feeder unless there are whole, unshelled peanuts in the feeder. I would love to make it down to the Rio Grande and shoot a few Green Jays.
