Only 90 full views out of the 290 that saw this?
I can't believe that. This so deserves to be seen.
I love the way the eye makeup makes her eyes look... And I love the grain. It makes the shadows and her hair look interesting.

i know
don't even get me started on the percentage of views vs. full views on MOST images
it irritates the hell out of me and they themselves are so missing out on ANY image viewed not in full view
their loss
thank you so much for full viewing and commenting

i love the comment of an Anne Rice character (having read many of her books ) thank you and i think you're right - she would have made a good dark friend to Claudia

Gives me the creeps. Not because it's spooky or anything, but because it does portray (very well I might add), pain and lows in a young person. I can feel it in my gut when I look into her eyes.

Wow, I'd love to say more but it's just so ....you're right, dark. She's a great and obviously confident model for one so young and carries the piece off beautifully. A classic case of ever underestimate children, a lesson I learned very early in parenthood.

I was brousing through the category when I saw this. It is truly an amazing piece. She is so young and pretty, yet with make up and that expression...it makes her look like she had to mature alot faster than should have been. Reminds me of yours truly. eh...
I love the texture of her skin and eyelids. The hair is simple yet beautiful. That little dot of white in her eye seems like her only outlet of innocence in the picture. Awesome. I think I'll fav this and stalk you. ^^

thank you so much - she loves to model and is stunning to look at it - this was for a Halloween shoot we did last year and are gearing up to do another one in the next two months. She's got a very very normal kid life- she is just used to the camera and modeling. I really appreciate your description and taking the time to let me know you liked it. She and her brother are all over my gallery.

It's funny....at first glance, in the smaller version, she looks like she could be middle-aged. Then, in full-view, paying more attention to the face and that expression, she looks SO young. Good job with this, a novel idea.

Oh wow! The grainy contrast on this is divine. @_@ I love it!
It's so.. Um, a mixture of many things. The colors for one make it a wonderfully stark piece. A nice refreshing change from dark pieces being so dark and gloomy. This is so in-your-face.
And her eyes- She has such sad little eyes. O__O Did you use a whole lot of make up on her? n_n With the reflections it seems so.
Anyway, this is an amazing piece. (And I agree with you- Dark art gave a larger margin to put in our art than Macabra and horror. )

oh yeah - TONS of make up - she had on a silver wash base and then lots of silver and black eye make up and dark lips - this was from a shoot intended for Halloween and dark images

nice b/w contrast and pose, good

the description says make up and photoshop - the only photoshop is level play and curves though its more about the make up on teh skin
