I am so reminded of Cludo cards, Mary... if that makes sense.. hehehe. I see you as Miss Scarlett, in the library, with the manuscript.

the shadows in this are terrific. the black and white is great and i personally like that you cant see the eyes. I love eyes but this looks even better without them for some reason. kinda odd. Great one,

beautiful and touching image. i really dig that kind of powerful very strong contrast. i don't like that much the bit of ear that caught the light though, but it's just a detail.
i love this brilliant shot anyway.

Do you use TechPan film?
This B/W really has that wonderful feeling you get from the black blacks and the white whites of TechPan.

I should add that you can get normal film developed like it, but under a careful eye differences would be noticed. You also have to let them know its TechPan when you get it developed, otherwise your $10 roll isn't going to be developed as well as it should be.
While a complicated matter, it is well worth it. ~,^

If you like film, as I do, then you should try it.
It's about $10 a roll, but well worth it. ~,^
