Feelings deep insideArising to their peak
Breathing getting quicker
It’s getting hard to speak
Not fully understanding
What's going on inside
All these new emotions
No place for me to hide
In from every direction
Flying round & round my head
Questions, feelings, words of doubt
Each one laced with dread
I feel as though I’m drowning
In a whirlpool filled with tears
Reaching out & grabbing nothing
But another surplus of fears
Haunted by them, day & night
They’re slowly closing in
These creatures of my darkest thoughts
These beings of immortal sin
Wave after wave of uncertainties
Crashing at my feet
They’re building up, taking me in
My head bows in defeat
These feelings are taking over
Inside my head, my heart, my core
Surrendering my life to these emotions
Haunted by them forever more
