Well it's Post-Skin Deep Spidey bashing in general ( Clone mini-series and Red Sonja Cross Over nonwithstanding ! Those were awesome.)

I've finished Superior Spider-man, I shall discuss it as well as how it could have been made better (with the proper Spider-man being in danger.. Obviously! Octavius's body stealth is Dio Brando-level of bastardery... and I love this kind of plan !)
Also my problem wasn't Slott's characterization of Octavius (actually that was a high point)... In fact it is the pre-Superior one that I could not stand, hence me being fine with Spider-Ock. The other problems with Slott's run? Well this guy not only covers most of them BUT he contrasts them with one of my favorite Spidey runs of all-time ! hellzyeahthewebwieldingavenger… (though I totally disagree with him on Lethal Protector( That was one of Eddie's most compelling aspects !) and Norman Osborn's archnemesis status (yeah right...))

In the right hands yes i agree I did like Yost writing of Spock but overall I just thought the concept was mind numbingly stupid given how everyone around Spock had to be written with the idiot ball to make the story work. Not to mention the lack of him getting any karma until the last issues. As to Slott's take on Peter yeah I know how bad it was made me wish JMS or Michiline were writing him again. Love letter to silver age my ass. I'll check the link thanks.

Yeah , the Silver Age is quite honestly overrated. And I am with you on the Idiot ball. Spider Ock would have worked far better as a Spider-Girl story. I'll detail that at some point...

They actually did a story like that similar in Spider-Girl were Norman's memory's took over Parker's body.

I see, but it'd work better with Otto (for various reasons ! Aside from the fact thatI never bought Noraman as an archenemy...) if we go from a "JoJo's BA" angle.. As I said I'll detail my idea later...
