Here's the difference between the 2 versions of this sexy lady:
* Movie Roberta is a grouch that was lured in to the kids' jeep because Lex switched on a lamp torch (yeah, the gymnastics killing a raptor is the stupidest scenes, right ? Wanna know why I don't find Jurassic World any dumber than the first one ?! Shit like that and Tim NOT handing Alan and Ellie the fucking gun while there's a raptor at the door MIGHT be it ! ). While territorial, she also seems to give up in frustration hence why she pushed the jeep when she grew weary of biting it.
Should've died in the end after killing the 2 raptors because sickle claws in the neck would cause MASSIVE bleeding... or the raptor was a fucking imbecile who decided to bite her instead of keep using its better natural weapon. Not-so-clever girl...

* Book Rexy, on the other hand, is a pissy rageaholic who throws the jeep away with her mouth because she can't figure out what's inside ! She's even more territorial than Roberta, in the sense that she will keep tracking Alan and the kids as long as she breathes and despite the hadrosaur dinner she made for herself. Look, she just lost her opportunity at eating Dr Malcolm as she threw him away last night ! NOW she has the chance to rectify that by attacking them WITHOUT hurling them afar from her jaws ! Animals CAN learn and adapt... well at least until the sedatives take effect... dammit.

There's also the juvenile tyrannosaur who acts like a puppy. Who wouldn't want one in the neighborhood ?

As for the lips, I found the phylogenetic argument and foramen frequency on the skulls to be convincing enough for me NOT to put lips on a Rex. Simple as that.
