Just to make things clear, I LOVE Vegeta because of different reasons most people do. See, most people go after DA POWAA and all that ... Me ? I love him because i feel THIS would fit most his action scenes whether he massacres or gets thrashed www.youtube.com/watch?v=23aaan…

I hold the Prince of all...err... a numbnut , a nice kid hybrid and his future hybrid son AS the funniest fall guy in all of Dragon Ball. And that's without taking TFS or Dragon Fall into account because they hardly exagerate Vegeta's personality, they just tweak his dialogue.
In fact, let's take a look at his development:

* In the Saiyan Saga, while Vegeta is the cruel TOP bastard it's the battle against Nappa that was scary, the Vegeta VS Goku battle ... is actually hilarious and gets much better (and funnier) when Krillin, Gohan and Yajirobe are the ones to take him down!
* In Namek, since he's not the top dog, Vegeta schemes against his boss and has to be more cautious... yeah, he's still fucking evil BUT a pragmatic type of evil.
* In the Cyborgs Saga, Vegeta has TASTED THE POWER ! He is a Super-Saiyan, fucked Bulma (just a heads up, she IS a fucking jerk so it fits... kinda amazing how humble and kind Trunks turned out to be...) and will proceed to get everything that's coming to him ! And yeah, it was satisfying to see #18 and Perfect Cell wreck him... But then he ends up eating some humble pie, the loss of Trunks ACTUALLY affects him and he helps Gohan in the very decisive moment of the final beam struggle.
