Description I haven't seen many anthro dolphins. So that's where Ee comes in. In an effort to make the strangest group I had to throw in some unusual critters. She's wearing a wave cloak [I had to make up a way for a dolphin to survive out of water, i just can't do anything easy]. sigh

I'm relatively sure dolphins can survive fine out of water, they just can't go anywhere...I'm just not sure if thier skin needs to stay wet or something.

I think they have to stay pretty wet, or people wouldn't freak out so much when they beach themselves. I should add that she can use water in her magick.

Dolphins can’t survive for long out of water. They need water to stop their skin from drying out and getting burnt by the sun. Their bodies are designed to move very easily in water but they can’t move very well on land.

And:

Q: Is it possible for a whale or dolphin to live out of water?

A: Not really. Because whales and dolphins breathe air they may be able to survive out of water for a while when beached, but they can not live out of water. Their skin is very sensitive to the sun and needs moisture and their bodies are made to be surrounded by water. Also, in water whales and dolphins lose excess body heat to the cooler water. On land the animal would overheat. Since whales and dolphins get their food from the sea, breed, give birth and raise their young in water, it is important that they stay in water.

Ooo, cliche!

Their own body weight would make it very dificult to breath as well.I think thats a problem horses have to,but thats only when they lay down...
