Description Recently, I've obtained a new piccolo. The brand is Bundy, like Ted Bundy. Unfortunate right? This piccolo is amaazing though! After using my first piccolo, Lauren, brand Oxford for a painful 2 years, this one is like worth $1,000 compared to it. Lauren had cost me about only $150. It was used and the mouth piece hadn't even been silver. After using it in one sitting after it had been professionally cleaned, it would turn brown as if it was rusted. It wasn't though seeing how it kept its smooth texture. The first game of Senior year I dropped it on the field during run through. It shattered the body and now it is permanently bent. It is cracked in the middle of the body and the keys that had continuously popped all the whole span I had the piccolo for once again were not in the correct position. Because of the bending of the body though, the keys would not be able to be fixed either. With this being said, Lauren was retired; no longer to be used ever again. The same day I got Lauren back from the shop after they took 2 weeks to look over it I was told the news. I had called the store to see if there were any other piccolos beforehand, that way when I picked up Lauren I could buy another to replace her. There were two piccolos, the Bundy brand and gemeinhardt brand. The Gemeinhardt needed fixing though so it would take months. I wanted the new one from the start because I finally deserved a well treated Piccolo. I think there had been one other owner before me but whoever it was took good care because the pads were literally brand new. Although I had never heard of the brand Bundy before I wanted to take a chance with. I named  this piccolo Angelo. It costs $498, $700 if I'm not able to pay it in full by December 1st. I had put a down payment of $60 first for the first 3 months. I also paid a $7.99 fee for 3 months of warranty, that way if it gets damaged during marching season I can have it fixed without paying for it. So far I haven't had any problems with Angelo. Although I miss Lauren, I am very happy to have a new Piccolo. I work only 2 days a week due to band and being a minor. I hope to be able to pay for it in full.

If it's anything like my Bundy piccolo, you'll love it. Bundy is a good brand. My alto sax, piccolo, and spare flute are all Bundy (all of which I got second hand so they were pretty well used) and they all work wonderfully.

It was great but the music store took it without my saying and switched it for another. I miss Angelo, the piccolo.

Aww, that's a shame.
