Description Well, a while ago Jade sent me something that was probably the best gift I have EVER recieved, a copy of Clive Barkers Undying for the Mac. Ever since the game came out on Valentines day in 2002 Ive been obsessing like mad about it, visiting the now defunct website, reading all the reviews, getting as much info etc on the fantastic world created by the faboulous Mr Barker, a great personal inspiration to me. Play this game, or read his books, or as I do, do both.
Anyway, the Game Undying centers around a Family in Post World War 1 Ireland, and one by one they have died and returned, and have brought many unspeakable nasties with them, these fellows being one of my favourites. Their called Skarrow (or Scarrow, the spelling is never clear) and inhabit the parralel dimension which the Family Mansion has known as Oneiros, and due to the door to this world having been opened by the unded siblings, now also infest certain parts of the Mansion.
Skarrow are slightly more vegetable than animal in appearance and nature, but those Cuthulu style maws which spit acid and those long blooded witch-like claws speak a different story. They also attack in a rather unusual way by somehow phasing out of reality and dissepearing into the ground, only to sprout up again 'directly behind you.'
The best way to kill them is with fire, but a good old fasioned gunshot to the head or more traditional methods will do the trick. Dangerous on their own, A Nightmare in large groups.

ooo i have never played that game *holds a box over herself as to not get stuf thrown at her for not being familiar with it* This is very well layed out on the page, I like the colors you have used as well...and all the sketchy lines used to incorporate more detail. Nice work!

*pokes the skarrows and runs away* o.O
