how do you draw pictures on a phone, do you have to have a certian type of phone>

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which has a little wacom pen with it now. It's like carrying a tablet around with you.
I did have a Note 1 before that, which the stylus was awful on and an htc desire before that. I had to use my finger as a stylus on those. It takes a little practice getting used to 'finger painting' again, but it all comes back to you pretty quick.
I still go back to using my finger sometimes. You can get a surprisingly precise control when it's just you and the screen. It's like a more direct interface.
Autodesk Sketchbook is what I do everything in. When final images are needed in big resolutions, I have to do resizing and some compositing in photoshop afterwards, which I need to do on my laptop.
I still sketch and layout with biro on copy paper. They are the best non-digital tools ever!
