why the big head things on the shoulders?

Those are actually Plutia's dolls clinging onto their shoulders, kinda like the Sophie doll accessory in Tales of Graces f. I more or less made them a recurring thing in my pics after I got ahold of them.

I haven't really played any of the TALES of (whatever) games, so I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with said item.
I tried google'ing said item but no stat list of any sort.
this does give me a reminder to play some more rpg's to pass the time though.

The item itself is just a cosmetic dlc item, like a TF2 hat. So ingame it doesn't do anything except appear on the character.
