Aah, Fallout...I've been wanting to do some Fallout fanart for a grip now. It's my all-time favorite video game series, yet I've made little attempt at doing fanart for it...
I wanted to do a Fallout 2 fanart, being that it's my favorite one in the series, but Fallout 3 is easier because you can actually see... stuff... Unlike in Fallout 2 where everything is so........ small... But still, someday I hope to do Fallout 2 fanart
I have another copy of this on my computaah with the Fallout font that says "FALLOUT 3.", but I was like, "Meh, putting words on this pic would be gay..."

PS: I'll give you a free to the first person to guess where this exact background is in Fallout 3 (hint: there's no nukes going off nearby and there is, in fact, a broken-down highway in the scene originally... I just modified it... because I didn't want any more work...).

Naww, I wanted to do a blowing-up-of-Megaton picture, but I was like, "Everybody blows up Megaton... I'm just gonna blow some other shit up..." I also didn't want to draw Tenpenny Tower and a character standing up there... That'd take damn near forever, which I don't have the time to do |D

Looks to me like the hill that is south of 101 and north of megaton. The smoke might be where the Enclave are burning those bodies in the broken down silo. Plus I know that there would have been a highway starting just out of frame to the left and curving around to be behind your wanderer.

Haha I haven't played it in over a year. I had over 3000 saves and a hundred different characters though. I'm a walking Fallout 3 strategy guide.

Seriously I'm not lying I'll upload a photo if you want and that's just on my newest profile. I go hard in the Fallout. I have over 1700 in New Vegas too haha but I really shouldn't be too proud of this. Anyway I like the pic dude, I wouldn't have been able to guess where you were if you didn't do the terrain right.

DAMN! 1700!? Jeeeez.... I only played New Vegas a little bit on my PS3... haven't even beaten it yet. I wanna get it for PC, but my laptop won't run it (but runs Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Go figure ). I'm waiting til the end of this school year til I get a new laptop so I can run that shit up.

Lol, yea... I actually ran around to find a spot with not too much shit to draw (God, I hate doing backdrops so much), but still not make it look like I'm a pussy at making backdrops |D It ended up being right outside Megaton (just like you said xDDDDD)that I took the screen :/ THANKS AGAIN!
