Description
Deadpool is getting mental help in this issue. But instead of having him on a psychiatrist couch I thought it would be funnier if he was attacking his own brain. With a drug bomb. It's also kind of a homage to the scene from Dr. Strangelove where Slim Pickens rides a nuke like a bronco. Don't know what I'm talking about? Then you are dead to me. Get off your ass and see that movie.Related content

I just bought Deadpool Vol 9, and this was on the back cover of the book jacket. I loved it so much I had to find you on here, find this, and tell you that I really really like this picture. It perfectly sums up who Deadpool is as a character, and it's funny to boot. Bravo.

This reminds me of a line from a song - can't remember the song, but the line was 'Insane in the membrane'.

Errr... are you familiar with Groo the Wanderer? The Groo Crew had something of reputation for running gags including but not limited to hidden messages in the artwork/lettering.

Well... that, and the scripts, and the intricate artwork (SeΓ±or AragonΓ©s has a "thing" for drawing large crowds & ridiculously detailed stuff all around), and the humor, and the little things like running gags, and the Mark Evanier, the writer, reading and replying to the letters himself on the letters page... the collected editions should still be available.
Also... are you, by any chance, familiar with AragonΓ©s Destroys DC? IMHO it has one of the best, if not THE best version of Batman's origin story.

OMG! This is so awesome! And I can see Wade too! This by far is one of the most striking image of Wade there is. Not to mention the simplicity is what makes it all work. @_@

There is an old HK action flick where a girl straddles a garbage can tosses a stick of dynamite in it, and rides the explosive propulsion over a wall. I think the movie was the Avengers Michelle Yeow is in the movie. If you are curious to track it down.

Oh, but it's SO old movie... black and white too... plus that Limey geezer appears in several roles like they couldn't hire more actors...
Ok, I'll stop.
Stunning illustration, GREAT homage to the great movie scene.
