Description
So Marvel's doing this event thing where every cover no matter what the title will have an Elseworlds style Iron Man cover. Iron Man as a Medieval Knight, Iron Man if Tesla invented him, etc. Mine was what if Iron Man was created in the 50's. So how could I not give homage to the classic 50's Sci-Fi staple BIG HEADED ALIEN INVADERS!!!And it made sense to have his armor without any red or yellow to reference to 60's original armor.
I also feel like it needs an 'old cover' treatment with logos and stuff, but I'm too lazy to do it right now.

He did and the book itself is an X-Men book. This cover is part of a promotion Marvel is doing that has Iron Man alternative covers on all the main Marvel books.

That's sorta confusing to have an Iron Man cover for an X-men book in my opinion. XD I'll keep my eye out for it when I finally get to a comic shop again.

I don't know if you intended this, but Iron Man there kind of reminds me of Gort from The Day The Earth Stood Still. The 1951 version, not the remake.
