Description
IN THE OLDEN DAYS, THEY WOULD CUT THIEVES HANDS OFF AT THE WRIST. TAKE MY ART, EVER, AND I WILL CLEAVE YOURS OFF WITHOUT MERCY!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!- - - - - - - - -
"......all the fear has left me now
i'm not frightened anymore
it's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh
it's my mouth that pushes out this breath........"
Behind this image;; After hours and hours of solid practising and more practising with my new tablet I realised that I hadn't uploaded anything in a while. Oops! Then.... me trying to ultra smart I thought I would practice cutting the horse out with the tablet... and ended up cutting one of his legs off! o.O So after some minor surgery, I used another horses leg on our poor frankenstiene horse, and voila... [I can see the faults 'cause I made it, I'm just hoping no one else does! O_O]
So eh, what you see here is really as the lyrics used suggest; "its this mouth that pushes out this breath..."; though rather than just 'breath' it is actually his soul being pulled from his frightened face, and his entire body. I thought on a story for a long time, but didn't come up with anything solid enough to use, so for the time being, he is just another addition to my maze of storyless characters. The sections of floating cloud are, however, a somewhat mirage between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Limbo if you like. The line between the two, only really visible when you are on the brink of death.

Because the image was resized from the original working piece, I lost the horses quality, considerably, so the detailed version of the horse is below.

You can use them just as you would do a mouse; but with added effects and obviously the clean drawing side of it that you don't get with a mouse.

The detail shot was a great addition to this piece, one that definitely made me reevaluate the image as a whole.
You've done a wonderful job with composition here. The focus is drawn irrevocably to that horse, but the background is almost a piece of art in and of itself. The story behind it is understandable even without reading the comments (which I did, of course, read). The colors are poignant without being overpowering, the blending is flawless...
Another true masterpiece. ^_^
