Eaglestar is a very kind and gentle tom who tries to make friends with everyone. But since due to his kittypet blood, not much accept him. Yet he still smile for everyone. In any danger he would try to save someone else before he saves himself. He is a very affectionate cat, during his spare time he would play with the kits. He's one of the cats with many surprises that you don't see from just his appearance. He's usually a calm cat, but he will rip out someone's fur when agitated. He's loyal, wanting to prove his loyalty to this clan by every way possible.
He's now a bit more slow for he's been getting little sleep. Eaglestar's a bit more depressed than usual, however will brighten up to the sight of his friends. Eaglestar is very emotional, like other cat's emotions can cling onto him.

- Having difficulties getting over Tangledtail's death

A tabby returns back to the camp opening from a recent patrol. Eagleflight couldn't say that he was getting comfortable with everyone else especially the rogue group. The days go by and it seems like forever that he's been here. But there were good things after living the life of a clan-cat, he had new friends, a mate who he'll love forever, and an adventure. The tom thought about his mate and scanned the camp, searching for a certain fanged cat. His eyes landed on Tangledtail who was under a dead tree and chuckled. Eagleflight padded up to him. "Hi Tangledtail." He purred and gave the other's ear a quick lick.

Tangledtail looked up a smile formed on his face when he saw his mate and began to purr when the yellow orange tabby licked his ear "morning Eagleflight" though the smile still remained he layed his head back down not returning the gesture like he normally did he just looked back over into the distance a blank gaze on his face to anyone else that did not know the tom that well this would seem as normal behavior yet to cats that knew him it was obvious that something was wrong as well as the tried look he had like he hadn't slept in a while

I'll start.
It was afternoon. Dovepaw was sitting near the freshkill pile, waiting for her mentor, Eagleflight, to tell her to train. She had recently eaten a rabbit, and her friends had gone off to train, so she was pretty bored.

Eagleflight padded his way to Dovepaw, showing her a sheepish smile. "Sorry for just now arriving to meet you Dovepaw. I hope that I can make you into the best warrior in this clan."

Dovepaw heard her mentor's voice, and turned her head to look at him. She smiled widely. "Yayyy! And, it's okay, really, we can still train, right?" she asked.

Eagleflight chuckled at his apprentice's enthusiasm. "Yes we will, come on let's go."

Dovepaw nodded. "Let's!" and followed her mentor out of camp.

Eagleflight took his apprentice to the area right next to the Sun River, the training hollow. "This is the training hollow. To be honest it's right next to the five stones as well!"

Dovepaw smiled. "Ooo! After the training, could we visit the five stones too?"

Eagleflight chuckled. "Yes we can. And maybe you'll get to be in a gathering next time."

Dovepaw jumped in excitement. "Yayy! I wonder if I'll be allowed to go to the gathering though, since I'm a pretty young apprentice.."

Eagleflight purred in amusement. "You can never be too young, now come on better get a head start before your siblings right?" He grinned.

Dovepaw nodded. "Yeah, and when the Gathering happens, I'll know the territory and I won't get lost!"

Eagleflight purred. "That's right! Now come closer to me." He said in a low tone. "See that shrew right up ahead?" Both cats were behind a bush, making it difficult for the prey to notice them.

Dovepaw turned her head in the direction of where Eagleflight was looking. The apprentice quickly noticed the small figure of an animal doing something, perhaps eating, from behind the bush. "Yeah, I do." Dovepaw whispered.

"Watch me closely." He said in a whisper. The golden tabby was stalking towards the shrew, his tail lower and shifting his weight so his steps were quiet. Once he was close enough to the shrew, Eagleflight quickly leaped and caught the vermin between his claws. Quickly and swiftly, he bite down on the shrew, killing it instantly. He looked back to see if his apprentice got that. "Ok, now try to do the same."

Dovepaw nodded. "Sure!" she replied, and looked around for some more shrews. However, she couldn't see, or smell any of the small animals. Her tail drooped. "..I can't seem to find any other shrews to catch.."

Eagleflight's ears lowered as he thought of another solution. "Well shrews aren't the only prey that should be around here. Some prey like to hide in small areas so pay attention to your surroundings." He encouraged.

Dovepaw nodded, and started looking and sniffing around. Her eyes stopped near a gray bundle of fur that seemed to be sitting between stalks of grass. There it was. A mouse. Dovepaw crouched down, and started stalking it, trying to not make it see or hear her.

Eagleflight carefully watches his apprentice stalk to the mouse. 'Oh Starclan, let me please be a good mentor to this apprentice full of hope. Please let her become a warrior unlike Rootpaw..' He prayed silently.

Dovepaw, once she felt she was close enough, leaped to the mouse. However, the mouse had already sensed her and was already beginning to run away, but Dovepaw, once she landed, quickly caught up with it as it hadn't ran away anywhere far, and killed it with one strong blow to the neck with her claws. "Hooray! I did it!"

A smile broke out from Eagleflight's face. "You did! Pretty good for an apprentice Dovepaw." He praised. "Next time let's try to catch that mouse without it noticing you."

Dovepaw nodded. "Sure, alright! I promise I'll try to next time I see a mouse, or any other prey!"

Eagleflight smiled as he predicted that he will have a good relationship with his apprentice. "That's good!" He purred. He sees more prey around the area. "Come on let's catch prey for the clan."

Dovepaw nodded. "Alright then! Let's go!" and followed her mentor in the search of more prey for the Clan.

Eagleflight lets out a little chuckle at how excited his apprentice was. He was thankful for having an apprentice that could deal with him. He began to wonder how long it will take for Dovepaw to realize that he used to be a kitty-pet. Quickly he searches prey along with the grey she-cat for the clan. After all, there's a bunch of hungry new-born kits and queens there.

Dovepaw searched for prey with her mentor, until by the corner of her eye, she saw a gray bird picking at the ground with its beak. She turned to look at it, and began quietly approaching the bird.

Eagleflight sneaks a glance at his apprentice every moment he has too. He was really protective for young cats. Though Dovewing was already an apprentice, Eagleflight couldn't help but look over her like kit. He sees her stalk and bird as he hunts a mouse.

Dovepaw crouched and prepared herself for the pounce. Then, in a heartbeat, she was in the air, her claws piercing the air as they were nearing and nearing the gray bird. The she-cat was startled once she saw the bird turn its head to hr, but believed she could still make it. However, she was wrong. Just a few moments before she could land, the bird took off into the air, its wings flapping, yet its flight was almost cut off as Dovepaw's claws pierced one of its wings, leaving a scratch, yet this didn't stop the bird from flying away, even if a little bit slower.

Eagleflight now stops all his activities to watch his apprentice carefully. She almost had it! He thought. Catching birds were never really his favorite. Seeing how Dovepaw made a scratch on it's wings gave the golden tabby a bit of hope, however seeing how it was still flying, Eagleflight couldn't let this prey get away. Quickly Eagleflight sprinted toward the bird as soon as Dovepaw landed on the ground. The warrior leaped up in the air with his claws ready to catch the prey between his paws. His claws pierced into the bird's wings and using his weight, he brought the bird down to the ground and quickly killed the bird. He smiles sheepishly at his apprentice. "Not everyone's perfect at the first try."

Dovepaw stared at Eagleflight as he took the bird down from the sky, and nodded once she heard his words. "I think I did pretty good though..Or maybe not?" she half-said, half-asked.

Without any hesitation Eagleflight nodded, not wanting Dovepaw to feel like she didn't give it her all. "Yes you did! You managed to lay a scratched the bird's wing. That's pretty impressive. Don't fret too much, birds have a more keen sense of hearing so it's not you're fault."

Dovepaw smiled once she heard that; she felt a bit more happy now that she knew that birds weren't really easy prey. "Nice! I kinda thought that they were easier to catch than that.." She chuckled.
