Eaglestar is a very kind and gentle tom who tries to make friends with everyone. But since due to his kittypet blood, not much accept him. Yet he still smile for everyone. In any danger he would try to save someone else before he saves himself. He is a very affectionate cat, during his spare time he would play with the kits. He's one of the cats with many surprises that you don't see from just his appearance. He's usually a calm cat, but he will rip out someone's fur when agitated. He's loyal, wanting to prove his loyalty to this clan by every way possible.
He's now a bit more slow for he's been getting little sleep. Eaglestar's a bit more depressed than usual, however will brighten up to the sight of his friends. Eaglestar is very emotional, like other cat's emotions can cling onto him.

Owlcreek's whiskers twitched as she padded through the camp entrance. "I'll teach you a few techniques tomorrow, Turleplaw."
As her apprentice bounded away, Owlcreek made her way towards the fresh kill pile, taking one paw step at a time, and using her tail to help her. Slowly but surely, she made it there. The loss of her sight did affect her, but made her other senses more keen. She sniffed for some prey, and bent down, picking up a shrew. She made her way to a spot where she sat down and enjoyed the prey.

Eaglestar sat on top of the sand-hill, using it to watch over his clan with his eyes. The leader was growing more paranoid of losing anymore cats, the lone thought of more cats going missing ans possibly suffering made Eaglestar miserable. Was it because he was previously a kittypet that he couldn't show his true potential of being a leader. These cats needed their leader, and Eaglestar wasn't doing a good job at it, not with these cats going missing. The tabby sighed, hopping down the hill to check around the camp. His eyes landed on the familiar white pelt that enjoyed her prey in piece. It was Owlcreek, one of the tom's friends. Eaglestar frowned slightly seeing slowly trying to find a place to eat. He didn't know what it was like in the she-cat's paws, but it must have been difficult as a blind warrior. 'I really should make her an elder..' Eaglestar hesitantly thought as he padded up to the blind she-cat with uncertainty. "Hello there Owlcreek."

Her ears perked up, recognizing that voice. Butterflies seemed to want to escape her chest, and she turned to the direction of the voice. "Eaglestar...! It's nice to talk to you again!" she exclaimed. With the cats going missing, she knew that the leader was troubled, and he was still troubled with the death of his precious mate. She wondered sometimes what the burden felt like for him. It must be hard. Sometimes she wished she could help him take the burden, but with the loss of her sight it was slightly difficult to do much.
"How are you...?" she asked. Though it didn't quite show, concern was hidden inside her tone.

"Oh I'm fine." Eaglestar sheepishly grinned, thankfully for him that the she-cat couldn't see his awkward smile. As awful as that sounded to the tom, he didn't want anyone to worry about him. He needed to support himself, he's been doing so since Tangledtail's death. His mate's death took its tole on his mental health, where there were nights he found himself reliving the day he lost Tangledtail in front of him. However, he was getting over him, it was one of the lives he received when Eaglestar went to go get his nine lives. 'Thank you Amberstar..' He silently prayed, before going back to the conversation. "But enough about me, I need to know how you're doing."

I've been doing better, still is a bit..." she paused, "...difficult to cope with blindness. But I'm getting there." It was true, though she just wished she could actually see cat's faces again. To know if they are crying or not... so she can comfort them. Though being given an apprentice, thats made her feel more important then she really felt like she was. Being blind does limit what she does, but it also had her senses go up. She had been able to teach Turtlepaw new things. "But with the apprentice you gave me... I feel.... important... not just some blind cat sitting around anymore. Thank you so much, Eaglestar."

Eaglestar listened to the she-cat's words closely and smiled warmly at them. He felt his heart hurt for a second, almost guilty for thinking about making her an elder. 'No Eaglestar! Do not let your personal emotions get in the way! You have to do what's best for the clan and your clan-mates!...Right?' Eaglestar doubt himself, a mix of emotions stirred in his stomach and a frown appeared on his face. His eyes averted away from the she-cat as the look of pure guilt was on his face. "Hey Owlcreek? We're good friends right? A-And as friends we can tell each other anything right?" Eaglestar gulped, a bit nervous now. He had to say it, even though he heard how it made the blind she-cat feel. It brighten up Eaglestar's day when he heard that, it gave him a sense of hope that he wasn't a bad leader after all.

"Yeah, of course we are friends!" she nodded. Though some part of her wished more, though she tried to push it away. He was busy being a clan leader. He didn't have time for things like that, and he had to focus on the clan. "Is there, something wrong...?" she asked. Though she couldn't see his face, she could tell something was wrong. Her ears were as sharp as ever.

Eaglestar pinned his ears back, cursing silently to himself. "Well.." The leader hesitantly spoke up, did he really want to make this decision? It made the she-cat so happy and to do this to her after she just said what she said earlier made the tom more guilty than before. "It's been on my mind for some time now. I-I honestly am conflicted about it, but I need to say it for you're own good!" Eaglestar meowed, this was getting more difficult than it already was. "Owlcreek..I'm going to make you an elder because of your blindness. With or without your consent you will become an elder when I make my announcement." He sternly said, the weight on his shoulders felt both heavy and lighter at the same time, he didn't know how that was possible, but it felt that way.

She sighed, an obvious look of sadness on her face. "Yeah, I understand why..." she sighed sullenly. "It's what's best for the clan, yeah? I'm still happy that you gave me a chance..." Her voice cracked slightly. Her dream of being the best warrior was shattered when she got blinded, but she could still be a warrior, or she thought. But hearing this, her dream was broken. 'I'm sorry, Pondpaw...' she thought. She her face away from view, tears threatening to fall.

Eaglestar frowned and stepped up to her to nuzzle the she-cat. "I'm sorry, but it is for the best. Everyone else would agree to it." The tabby said softly, closing his eyes as he just shutted down a warrior's dreams. It brought a bad feeling in his stomach and Eaglestar knew it wasn't going away anytime soon. "I'm sorry for having to do this to you, please understand I'm only doing what's best as a leader. As a leader I need you to be an elder because it's the most logical thing to do, as a friend I need you to be safe because I care about you." He stepped away, turning away from the she-cat.

"I know, I know," she said. "I respect your decision. You are the leader... after all. A great one, too." She felt as if she was being over dramatic. Crying over the thought of becoming an elder? She knew he was doing it, so she wouldn't get hurt. But she'll miss a lot of things, like going out on patrol, hunting, training her apprentice... All of those were going to be gone soon. "I-I... thank you... Eaglestar... for telling me..."

Eaglestar stayed silent with his back turned from the soon to be elder she-cat. He opened his mouth to say something, probably an apology, but nothing came. He said enough apologizes already, saying anymore won't change the fact that he forced her to be an elder. It wasn't going to change the fact that Eaglestar now had this cloud of guilt in his chest. "Yeah.." Eaglestar simply said, it was already too much for him. The Tornadoclan leader walked away, each step he took there was the soft crunching of the grass underneath him.

'W-Wait... don't leave...!' she thought. She could hear the crunching of grass slowly fade away as Eaglestar padded away. She felt guilty, as if she made him feel bad, and she slowly got up. '..please don't leave...' she thought sadly. She turned away, and padded away from where she was sitting. She found herself by the entrance, and slowly padded out. She needed a walk, to clear her mind.

Lionheart trotted back from an afternoon hunting patrol. the whole group was panting from their chase with a rabbit plus the strong heat that heated down on them. The cloudless sky offered no shelter for the tornado clan camp. Though, they had grown accustom to the heat, it was on hot days like this lionheart wanted to rip the thick fur on his neck right off. He spotted the golden tabby leader perched by his den, admiring the activity that bustled around them. He had been busy lately so it made lionheart happy to see him relaxing for a while. "good afternoon eaglestar! how are you doing today?" he mewed walking up to him.

Eaglestar looked down at his clan with fondness in his expression. The sunlight beamed down on his fur and on the territory that his clan claimed. The tabby sighed contently to himself, letting his body relax and loosen up. It's been a while since he was just declared a leader, it was so nostalgic for the Tornadoclan leader. 'Yet here I am..This is how far I came..' He thought to himself. However he knew for a fact that a leader's work is never done, especially with one of the missing apprentices. It made the tabby's blood boil and he blamed himself for Icepaw's disappearance. Eaglestar then lets out a more heavy sigh and slouched his shoulders a little. His ear twitched to a voice directing towards him and the leader pulled on a welcoming smile for the other. "Ah good afternoon Lionheart!" Eaglestar greeted back. "It's been relatively good so far. It's good that the clan is taking into consideration to not leave apprentices unattended." His head turned to the golden warrior, he was fond of Lionheart. Eaglestar remembered the tom when he was just a young apprentice, and to see him grow into a warrior with a family brought a proud feeling in the tabby leader's chest. "But my day's not that important right now. How have you been Lionheart? Seeing how you have new additions to your family now?"

Lionheart was glad to see Eaglestar wasn't falling apart from the ice paw incident. His warriors where doing their best to find her.. but clan life had to keep moving or else things would just turn to crow food. "yes, I think a patrol is heading out to look for any scents again tonight… I have a good feeling though. Starclan have mercy" he mumbled. He shuttered at the thought of his own family being taken… He was eager to get off the subject of the lost apprentice and instead answered Eaglestar about his own new family. "yes, it was.. stressful but thankfully all the kits are healthy. thanks for asking" he purred. He could help but turn to look at the nursery and smiled warmly as a faint mewling came from the den. A few cats had come by lately to congratulate them and Lionheart felt the greatest swelling pride in his heart when he looked at russetstorm and their kits.

Eaglestar chuckled softly to himself when he saw the warmth and love in the warrior's eyes when he gazed over to the nursery, to which Eaglestar's eyes followed. The leader was taken back to when he was a warrior, just like Lionheart and when he was often near the nursery. He enjoyed playing with the kits, talking with the queens, it was refreshing, something that took weight off his shoulders. Eaglestar always wonder what it would be like to be a father for once, maybe for a day. He remembered his mate, though he was a tom they couldn't get any kits but nonetheless he still enjoyed being with him.
His attention was brought back up when one of the kits poked their small heads out and smiled towards them, to which the tabby smiled back. "Your kits are going to grow up strong." He said to Lionheart. "They're going to be wonderful warriors for Tornadoclan and medicine cats if they decide to take the role. I think one of your little ones are trying to take her first steps out." He chuckled in amusement while pointing towards the entrance where an orange striped she-kit waddled her way out the den. Her curious big eyes wandered around the camp until they landed on Lionheart and Eaglestar to which a big smile was replaced on her face.

"thank you Eaglestar, your approval is appreciated" he purred at Eaglestars praise of his family. No matter what path they took when they got older he would always be the supportive father he knew they needed. He had been excited for the day his kits would be born and his poor mate would finally be free of her heavy belly. Lionheart turned to the nursery following eaglestars tail point in to his sweet doughtier who wobbly crawled to the entrance. She gave them a smile with her warm and innocent gaze. He dipped his head in a polite dismissal to walk over to his fragile little kitten. "hello little honey" he purred as he approached her and lay down so her head reached his chin. She was still so small and her eyes, blue like the rest of the freshly born kits

Eaglestar chuckled seeing the two cats interact, seeing how Lionheart's kit's mewled over her father and Lionheart looking at his young daughter with warm and loving eyes. A part of Eaglestar envied Lionheart, for having kits and a happy family, and Eaglestar knew his chances of having his own kits was very minimal. Nonetheless, the tabby leader was happy for his fellow warrior and their growing kits.
Honeykit, despite being blind as a newborn, mewled in excitement as she climbed onto her father's muzzle and made her way up to his forehead. The climbing that she did apparently tuckered the she-kit out. The small orange kit yawned, stretching her legs and curling on top of Lionheart's head, purring softly to the warmth of the sun. Eaglestar chuckled in amusement, seeing the warrior with a little kit on his head.
