I think I hate this piece, but I think in the long run that just kinda adds to the meaning within this for me. I disgust myself... often. There are things I do in life that I regret and things I continuosly do even if I know it'll cause an issue etc. etc. etc. I don't know, the idea just came to mind and i though trying to portray how I make myself feel sometimes was a good idea..... Tragically there's no where enough anger/angst/agression within the piece as I had hoped.... lifes a bitch like that.45cmX45cm Canvas

When it comes to your work, you often find yourself looking into a deep meaning and trying to show too much emotion. This is not a case of that. I do like the piece but to your own admition, you wanted to show more. The truth is that in this piece of art, you showed just the right amount of attention and care, that you didnt over do it.

this is a really well done piece rach, i like this alot, actually its a concept on a piece that i was working on looks like i cant finish now though

i dont know you well but the idea of disgust does come through. Maybe its that this is so pretty from a design -layout point of view that you dont like it. Like your not digusted with self but with what your actions imply to others.
You hating the piece has a meaning on its own. You could have been more agressive in line and brush work but that takes being one with the work and tools, it does not come naturaly, from previous works you are on your way to a style and form of your own.
Artist grows with each completed piece...... as such you are an artist. Good work . keep on keepin on

you're right though.... i'm pretty sure there's more to that then I'm saying, especially as part of it was painted when I was extremely pissed off.... but I don't know... still looks like shit to me.
