Subject matter: my OC's, Adnari: talesof-adnari.deviantart.com/… and Maisha: talesof-adnari.deviantart.com/… *Maisha size wise is maybe between 1/4 to 1/3 the size of Adnari (shes not a little tortoise anymore but not even close to reaching the size of a full grown lioness)
Setting: on the edge of a Swampy grassland, both sitting under a tree- Adnari sitting on a rock, time of day up to you
Medium: photoshop or whatever program you prefer
Function: art depicting my favorite of my OC's
Other Requirements: Adnari and Maisha are close friends, they should appear to be having a pleasant convo

The first prize for a individual that placed in the contest. I must say it came out really beautiful, the various greens are really soothing in this and its quite lovely scene. Did cheat a bit by adding a texture layer over the water to give it a more convincing look. But everything else is entirely me. Also, I got to draw a tortoise and it was too fun: I've seen and studied real life tortoises and turtles and am fairly familiar with how they look and act. So this wasn't that difficult to get right. But man, it was nice to work on something new for a change.
I hope you enjoy it Adnari, hope its up to standard with second place.
