Second time uploading so I'll be brief.

I needed a new icon for the coming new year. After how hard 2020 has been (though 2019 was still worse for me personally even though it was worse for he world at large) I wanted some solemn, tired and even sad. I truly believe that even with how bad things have been in 2020 it won't get much better in 2021. I know and have hope and faith that things will return to stability and peace again one day but don't see that dawn arriving anytime soon. SO to accompany the coming night I made something to reflect it. Not trying to vent or looking for others to share (please don't), but I wanted to explain the reason for what I did.

Despite all this, the piece came out rather beautiful. The colors amazing and really glad I went with something different for this girl with shading and lighting. Went a little crazy with fur texture near the end but generally happy with how Kyon turned out. The background was taken from two different assets on google image and then edited as I was not up for making some background. I really like the look after all this as it really looks like Kyon is standing infront of a window during a cold rainy day. Fittingr really. Its just pretty over all and I hope you like it.
