Description
And we have my second troll and the one that got me into loving Critiquills, Server. Not going to lie, one of my favorite chraracters I've created and the one I enjoy working on most of my hoard. Now let me blather on about him.

1. Server is seen as the leader when it comes to hashing out orders and keeping everybody in line. He's not against bashing you with words but also backs it up with physical powess. Its enough to keep even the most rebellious on the team in line. The only one he sees as equal on the team is Zul and some extent Jax, his only superior is Kyon.

2. Kyon and Server view each other with strong respect and even trust. Its not perfect: Server may give his tamer grief and she may be exahperated over him, even getting to the point they'll have yelling matches. But Kyon's couarge and loyalty in tough situations and his strength in battle and ability to keep her honor even when she's away has kept a strong bond.

3. Server is a very proud creature thus his lowest moments are when this has been damaged. In the earlier years under Kyon his ego was very easily damaged but now he's nearly immune to ouside forces trying to rile or get at him. But he still can be affected by those on the team especially those closest.

4. Server has a heavy prejudice with Hybrid trolls. Its likely due to upbringing, something apout keeping bloodlines strong with purity and blah blah blah he's tired of talking about it. Since joining he's become far more forebearing towards hybrids due to interacting with tamers and Ackerley.

5. Server has a lisp, mispronouncing "s" and "th" to name a few examples. This comes from his jaw and teeth having a slight abnormality that makes his words not come out right. Despite this, he genuinely doesn't seem to care if others try to tease him for it. He only has issue with talking with others and does get annoyed when others don't understand. Thankfully this has not shown to be pass on gentically.

6. Server doesn't seem to have the capability to feel fear in battle and will rush in before thinking through actions. His usual tactic is to over power his opponents with bites, claw swips, quill pircing and powerful volts before the enemy has time to process. So though feared by most trolls in the area, he can be over come easily if a enemy holds out from the first assault and Server's stamina starts to give out. Thankfully Kyon has worked well with him and he's learned to listen to her and work on coming up with stragedies before and during battle. Again making him a force to be feared.

7. Server is a grouch that rarely smiles and seems to look at everything with a snobbish air of superiority tindged with distaste. So its a surprise he's very good around children and was a wonderful father to his own cubs. He is nearly endlessly patient, smiles often and will tolerate actions by them he'd never for anybody outside his family. Thus though Kyon worries about Server interacting in public she never bats an eye when they end up in child heavy areas knowing that she has nothing to fear in that moment.

8. Server likes tinkering and working on anything electronic outside of more "modern" technology. He's sort of jack of all trades when it comes to home repairs for Kyon's aboad. The wiring, machines, heating, the cars, etc. ends up getting fixed by him one way or another. Thus its not a surprise that he rejects having outside help and Kyon cannot call upon others to help make repairs in the home or incure his wrath of stubbornly refusing to help next time something breaks and quipping every five seconds as it get's worse. So yep, Kyon and the others just focus on buying him books and gadgets to play with in hopes that things keep running.

9. Continuing off that, Server has the garage mostly to himself where he tinkers with this or that applaince and seeks out when he wants to be alone. Hunter is the only one who is regularly joins him as they discuss cars and motorbikes lounging on the beat up sofa out there. You can always tell he's out there cause its blasting hard rock or metal that makes them all wonder how the heck he hasn't gone deaf yet.

10. It was determined that Server's birthday is on August 15th, though its not definitive cause Server finds the whole human practice stupid and refuses to take part (Kyon needed something to put on the offical docement, dang it). Thus the day is ignored save by the poor smuck who is put up to wish him a happy birthday by one of the others in the hoard cause its funny to watch him rage at something so trivial.

I'll end it there but I could go on and on about Server, I really do love him that much.

Anyway, the art was hard cause even though I love this character I was reminded why I rarely draw him: too many quills. Those are the death of my, far too many deatils that take way too long. But he came out pretty good and the background is okay. Glad to be drawing my forever grumpy quill kitty. Missed you darling.
