I don't think they'd have a major motive like DC or be annoying and jack useless stuff like Starry Night but mmmmayhaps they'd just act as a middleman mob? Where they own a bar as a place for truces and stalemates to take place? Or they could also be hired off by other mobs to do whatever's needed like cleaning or hits or drivers. I doubt with the way DC is they'd allow that if they wanna target other mobs but yea. 8') Thinkin something similar to Fish Mooney's bar from Gotham where it's owned and run by one mob but it isn't uncommon to find other mobs inside?

But yeah a juice bar would be cool! Doesn't have to be alcoholic--it's just a hangout place for anyone to be neutral in and listen to cool jazz/scat music. No weapons allowed inside, gotta remove your coats at the door and all. If people wanna ask for their services they can find them in the hangout too tbh.

I think they'd be pretty chill out of the capitol for sure; these guys aren't very aggressive or violent as a group. They just wanna run an establishment and get hired off when they need to be. Gotta ask Octo for permission, pay him, rent off who they need, do their business, then get a cut. Rest of the dough goes to the hangout to keep it running! uVu

And definitely true, different experiences. On dA, I've had SO MUCH character and design theft, among shitty drama, and on Tumblr it's the Hate Brigade™ and people reposting shit. So I definitely feel ya there, sorry you've had to go through that sort of nightmare as well, ughh h h h. =~='

AND BOY HOWDY DO I HAVE A STORY FOR YOU

Okay so like, there was this one person I knew who was a super big fan of my work, and enjoyed it when I posted Triangulum stuff to Tumblr. After a while, they told me what a huge inspiration I was to them (huge compliment) and then...proceeded to tell me they were making their OWN world of shapes, showing me several designs (a lot of which directly ripped off my characters), their story (which also ripped off a lot of my story AND Flatland), and called the shapes... 'Figurums'. Now, I was pretty uncomfortable with this especially when they told me they wanted their story to take place in the same universe as mine, and after a while, when I was talking about pitching Triangulum to Cartoon Network, they came to me and said...THEY were going to pitch THEIR show to Cartoon Network because they were 'inspired by me'. I asked them not to, because it was making me uncomfortable that something directly inspired by my work was being pitched BEFORE I EVEN PITCHED MINE, and they agreed...only to turn around just a little bit later and tell me they were going to do it anyway. I don't know what happened after that, because I cut contact for a long time after meeting them in person and having a panic attack and breakdown after being hugged without permission and kinda like, pushed around emotionally, toward things I didn't feel like doing. It was NOT a pleasant experience, and it's one reason I'm so hellishly protective of people 'making their own species' based off my work.

Also why I'm toting a DMCA banhammer around, now. e_e

I am still working on my show (actually might be putting out a trailer soon, once I get music figured out, since I already have a storyboarder/voice actor and I do the animations myself) and once I have enough of a reel, I'll be pitching to CN again to try and get it on air. Hesitant to do so out of certain fears (like them changing my work or altering important storylines) but if all ends well, I'll have my own cartoon out there. >uo and if not, it'll just be a web series. Plus, I can hire people to make quality merchandise if I do it myself.
