Artwork for the cover of AtsuiCon's booklet, a picture of their mascot, Sho-kun.The con is in Houston, Texas, August 3-5. Sadly, I had to really, really rush this due to it being a last-minute commission. It was originally done at 300dpi and sized at 8 x 11, my first time working on something at that big of a size.

Nah, I live all the way across the country. My best friend was staff for AtsuiCon though, head of the car gaming department, and asked me to do some art for the con. I sadly didn't actually get to attend.

Sho-kun's sooo adorable! I especially admire the reflections of the fire on the the fur and the shading. I'm no good at that kind of that stuff.

Thanks! It was pretty difficult doing it, since the smudging technique I used caused Photoshop to lag and freeze quite a bit throughout the process.
