So I've gained a slight new obsession lately with trying to draw the barely-seen character from Xros Wars, Yuu, Nene's little brother. Sadly, my design is likely very off when it comes to colors, as he's only seen in black in white, heavily shadowed in Episode 19.At first I wanted to just draw him and maybe one digimon, but was unsure... so I tossed in Vamdemon for lulz (since he's in the new toys) and ended up adding Gaomon and PetitMamon.

Haven't seens Xros Wars, just bits and pieces of the series (I've only seen seasons 1 (adventure) to 3 (tamers))
But didn't an army of Myotismon appear in Xros wars or so (from a clip I've seen)?

An army of Myotismon did appear at the end of Xros Wars: Young Hunters (I think it was episode 77 or 78. They didn't speak, but it was fun seeing classic villains :3.

It was drawn back when the character was first mentioned and was only seen in a 3-second black and white flashback. I ended up drawing him with an army using characters from the various manga series (mostly V-Tamer and Digimon Next), since no one knew what digimon he would have at the time. I also assumed he hair would be the same color as Nene's, but apparently the anime made it might lighter when they did show him again...

If you noticed the date, this was drawn way back when Yuu was just a black and white flashback and not last week where they gave him that... lovely color like a mini Piemon. I had ended up just using his sister's hair color.

They actually recently released a photo of Yuu, who can be chosen as a player avatar in the X Arena arcade game. Essentially he looks like I draw him, but throw in suspenders and.... plaid pants.

And at this point, I'm doubtful that Kotone will be available. It seems the manga characters are rarely used... or if they do appear, it seems to be exclusive to the DS games (Digimon Story series had characters from Next). Time will tell though.

Some interesting choices you made. Does the decision to include Gaomon among his Digimon and giving him a blue Xros Loader ( a bit too much like Kirihas, maybe go for cyan or silver instead ) an intentional hommage to Yuu from Digimon NEXT?

The decision to include Gaomon is definitely a homage to the other Yuu. Unfortunately, the Xros Loader originally looked more purple on the monitor I was working on (actually, the entire picture looked darker).
As for the PetitMamon... I realized halfway through that Yuu was starting to look a lot like Rei Saiba from V-Tamer.

I don't exactly understand how the Xros Loader could look purple with Gaomon still looking blue, but sometimes strange things happen.
And yes, he kinda looks like Rei here...
