Cute idea, but I have to say that the shaking kind of ruined it for me- if something squashy hit the camera it might bounce a little, and the camera might shake, but the camera shouldn't sit still while the emote shakes.
What would have really pulled this together is a simple background (like the text in the version in your avatar), and instead of the emote guy shaking, he stays still on the camera and everything else shakes (IE the camera, with the guy stuck on the front, shakes)
