OMG YAY Emoticon desktop toy
I've been meaning to do this ever since I made my ":Computer:" emote but never got round to it
So What it is and How it Works
this is an application for Windows that makes an emote appear on your desktop, you can pick him up by ether his body or arms and chuck him around your desktop then watch him bounce off the walls

P.S. if you want to get rid of him then just click on him the press Alt+F4
oh and to run it in vista you must select "run as admin"

I have heard from other reviewers and critiquers (is that how it's spelled? Probably not) that this is a very fun download. It looks fun. I love how he's smiling and just hanging from the mouse in the preview.
My one complaint, however, is that I cannot download this on my mac. My parents are huge mac people, so even if I wanted a PC, I couldn't get one. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/xā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

Wow. This is just so fun I've been playing with it ever since it was on my desktop. This is the best thing ever and I recommend it for other deviants. It is very well drawn awesome and it's free ability to move around its arms or just simple head.
I must say I've never seen anything like this. ESPECIALLY with deviantART emoticons.... This thing is also entertaining and I really hope every one of the other deviants that love emoticons think this too.

This is just too amazing.
It's a great way to kill time and have fun in the same time.
I would start with the flaws in this, but here's the problem: they are not existing. Now that the Vista-bug is fixed, all of us can enjoy your masterpiece.
I truly love this and you amaze me.
I simply love the facial expressions of the emote, and that his hands can fly to every direction there is.
There are no words to describe my reaction to this when I first opened this desktop toy. I thought my cheeks were going to fall off from grinning this hard.
This is just epic.

This is an awesome little desktop toy. Kind of reminds me of one of those games of the bubble boy where you could self destruct him and throw baseballs at him...or he just reminds me of a more circular flubber because he flails everywhere and is rather and I can see it to be very amusing to take frustrations out on.
I run Vista on my computer and I'm not sure if this is an issue for other people who run any other operating system, but the little guy will bounce once and then disappear at the bottom of my screen. I thought when it disappeared it closed itself...but the icon on the task bar shows that its still running. And I opened again, and noticed there were two icons on my task bar.
I was wondering if my task bar being hidden had anything to do with the coding to make it somehow disappear into the background?
If you could get that little bug situated, it would be awesome =3 Awesome desktop toy!

Where do I start? I tried this for the first time yesterday, and unfortunately I had the same old little bug where the amusing green emoticon falls out of the screen. Since then I have tried the updated version today and it works perfectly. I would like to commend you on your quick response to the bug and for fixing it so well.
This little guy will keep you amused for hours and is a fun thing to play with when one is bored.
The design is great and the animation is smooth, although I would suggest adding certain things that would make it that little bit more amusing, maybe it's eyes could follow your cursor around the screen for example. Another fun thing to do would be for it to do random things at interval periods, such as it could start dancing or jump and cling onto your mouse and you have to shake it off.
Overall it is a very original, well made widget and hope that it will soon be further to make even better and more amusing. Well done!

In terms of art, It's very nicely done. A hi quality and goofy emoticon. It's perfect for what you have it doing.
In terms of the application, it's not always smooth. What I mean is that when the hands drag along the bottom they're kinda doing little jumpy movements. And then the box that it's in is about a inch to small now with the update, but the first issue my be intended and the second could just be my computer monitor since it's a big wide screen one(or perhaps I'm just being a bit nitpicky).
It also doesn't always fly off when I try tossing it and just stops where I release it, but again...
Whatever the case, it is quite entertaining and I love how the face changes when it's thrown hard enough. If I could make some suggestions for v2 I'd say the ability to turn it on and off and maybe the ability to customize the size of the box or the emoticon would be pretty cool.

A great idea overall, this new application can entertain almost anyone at all! Cute, green, and curiously bouncy, this little guy will have you neglecting your homework once too many times!
Some have mentioned that he tends to fall down past the bottom of the screen, where one can no longer retrieve him. Although the program is still running, the little green guy is no where to be seen! Perhaps a small fix of this might make this program the ideal desktop companion.
Overall, a very nice concept that has much potential. Perhaps in the future, he will even be fully automated and run around your computer while you work!
