I only started fractal art yesterday (11/Aug/04), and this is the first thing I've done which I think is good enough for anyone to see.I made the base image in Ultra Fractal and finished t off in PhotoShop.
The mood I was going for was kind of the awe of something new and spectacular, I tried to make it look almost like a place that could exist in some other reality or something like that. I hope it gives you the same impression.
I've uploaded the 1024x768 version, if anyone wants this as their wallpaper and uses a different version, message me and I'll send you the size you want, anything up to 1600x1200.

those light-linky things look like clown faces on their sides - almost like in princess mononoke with the forest people thingys... O_o so when you take it in context there are millions of them all swirling down a plug hole - or back into that shimmering water like body on the bottom

If you want to mod it, that's fine, I won't make any changes to the uploaded one, but I will keep your suggestion in mind for future pictures. I'd rather the bars were part of the picture, instead of being added onto at the end, that's why I won't change this one.
