Are you left handed?
If you draw with your right hand it helps to keep the work clean if you start shading from left to right, so you won't put your hand over the drawing

i am left handed yes. And im aware of the right to left (for left handers) thing..although it kind puts me off sometimes.

i think that people should be honored that their work is good enough for you to draw inspiration from rather than demanding you acknowledge their awesomeness. Everyone is influenced by the work of others, no exception.
Whatever the influences, it looks really good. I cant wait to see how it turns out, im sure it will look very much like your work, and unlike anyone else's.

My friends says the same thing most of the times I use the ruler to measure out the human body to get the length right and for armour or if to add detail

and its true, if one uses a ruler then it suggests one does not have the skills & techniques to measure artworks with the eye

I see you're finally starting to shade like me... But man, seriously, are you trying to replicate some of my look? Those cracks...
Good job anyway, I can tell you straight up that the shading in this is much more expressive than your previous stuff - don't think I'm criticising your old work though.

for this particular one, yes i am going for a style similar to yours.
I think my old stuff's shading doesnt actually have that much difference, its actually my scanner settings..i managed to fix it,but yea i think this one's shading is better
