asked me how I make my drawings and I made for him something like a mini tutorial. Since it may interest some people, here is a compiled version of what I do:sta.sh/0180vai2yl0y

This is really cool. I wasn't aware of some of those features in GIMP.
What did you mean by, filling the transparent areas with green or blue? Where are those colors appearing?

I selected the transparent areas, I used the paint tool to make them green, then I used the dilate/erode, once it was done I deleted the green, making the areas transparent again

Oh, as a way to see the tiny spaces between the lineart?

yeah, it helps to find where all these points are and especially the few that left after using the erode/dilate

It's for me to never forget what is terrible about them and try my best to not repeat the mistake - although sometimes I make the same mistake again; also they help me to see how much I was able to improve.

Well, I'll keep going anyways, I have a certain idea, but I might need more time than usual since I just don't feel it right now.

Which one of those shit above is better than these:
Sure that once you hit a standard is difficult to keep it. It will not be everyday that you will be able to draw again like that drawing of Chikara showing her abs (that IMO is your best drawing), it will take time to become a constant. You must not use as parameters for your next drawing the absolutely best and not be afraid of the worst drawing you made, because they are exceptions. You can use them learn and understand what works and what does not work.
The time it takes to do something can be very desistimulating. The only solution for that is to make experiments and find a way that is more confortable or to simplify things or to leave behind steps that the cost benefit don't compensate...
Anyway, your problem does not look like to be the lack of ideas, but at the moment it is the lack of "courage" (probably there is a better word) to burn a good idea and by failing hard, like never before, or to get luck and deliver a Casual Chikara 2.0. But be sure that there is a huge middle ground between these two points and by how you have been drawing it's more likely that you will land in a place closer to the Casual Chikara. And if you are not satisfied with the result, you can always do a "draw this again" in the future.

I think you are right, I usually used to say "I can do anything, I just need time to do it".
Maybe I'm too hard on myself to always trying to uphold my upload schedule.
There are many things I have to learn, but I learned a lot already.
Guess I just have to keep going, even if I might not be as talented as some people and my drawing need a lot more time.
But that's no matter.
