This is a Small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae). Such beautiful butterflies

Cool, I knew it was a small tortoiseshell but I never knew the scientific name. I was looking for butterflies all of last summer. Me and my parents would go to places and look for butterflies. I also took my camera and took some ok shots

Easy trick if you want to find out the scientific name of an animal: just look for it on Google and go to the Wikipedia page about it (or look for it on Wikipedia). They always mention the scientific name of the animal there, immediately after its common english name So cool you went out to look for butterflies! Did you see many? Over here the summer had been late last year and so it was a very bad season for butterflies. Even this year there don't seem to be all that many :0

I found a lot surprisingly only a couple of rare ones though. And the most amazing ones tend to be in other countries. England is boring!
