Now, I am viewing this...it looks like a painting and I love the colors. So this is done in
soft pastels. Just beautiful! What's the difference between oil and soft pastels?

I think the main drawback for soft pastels is its fragility, if you are not careful you can easily smudge the finished work. So it is best to get it under glass as soon as possible if you want to keep it. Then leave a space behind the mount for the loose particles to fall. Oil pastels are much more robust.
