The theme this time was games in space, and I'm obviously NOT good with backgrounds XP so doing space and meteorites are just not on my list ^-^Naturally, it dawned on me that you don't exactly have to BE in space to play games IN space... Right? (That sounds kinda weird o.O) And Pinkie here can have fun with almost aaannnythinggg, excluding watching paint dry of course XD
Being one of my first few times doing an actual background, I must say that things could've gone worse ^w^ It all comes down to practice, lots of it!
EDIT: *The piece you're looking at right now has been updated* Despite my doubts and all, these guys managed to reassure me, making me feel more accomplished ^v^ So, I gave it another layer of paint and updated it. I assume it's an improvement over the older one (at least I think so XP) and it's all thanks to those who patted me on the back when things seemed bleak. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! From the comments, I guess it won't be hard to guess what actually happened ;3

Not good with backgrounds? Seriously? That evening sky blows my mind! I certainly couldn't do anything this good. If there's one criticism I could find it would be that the moon looks a bit wonky (rather like the moon in my last drawing), but it is more than made up for with Nightmare Moon's shadow curling around the edge of it. Keep this up and I'll bet you'll make it on EQD's Drawfriend in no time!

Wow, thanks! I appreciate the gesture ^-^ But still, being good with backgrounds is being able to create something totally new, applying shadings here and there and making it all realistic. Even for a sky, I had to make references, researches and stuff like that ;D Maybe I'll be better in future, shall definitely practice more! Best pony? Everypony is best pony in my eyes ^w^
