This is what he's been doing every night in his pod for 23 years. This is canon and no one can convince me otherwise.
This piece is amazing, I love the sketchy style.

This isn't completely true Obi-Wan, Padme was right and Luke proved it. Does make you wonder if he misses Padme. At least they're finally together again.

I disagree with Obi-wan. In this moment, he has never been more human.

I am quite sure that Obi-Wan would not say such words
if he would have witnessed Anakin's scream of pain after
he found out that Padme was dead.
A soul cannot be replaced by tech. Besides that a great pic ^^

That scene was so heart-breaking and terrifying. You could tell he just wanted to die but he wasn't allowed to. Although Vader seemed more machine than human and heartless he obviously wasn't. He had to have a soul to feel pain when he saw his son suffer.

He must feel like this everyday... considering what he did to her...

It's wonderful! I like your style and how you captured Vader's emotions and humanity. It's full of life.
It's not frequent among fanart, despite Vader had to feel similar as other people,he obviously wasn't machine, despite Obi's opinion.

Thank you I love that other people feel the same about Vader as I do. Such a tragic figure.

he seems a lot more human now...
man, poor Vader. His story is such a sad one. Just imagine the hopelessness he must feel in that suit, so tied down to Sidious. A real tragedy.

I love it when artists actually GET the whole point of Star Wars. Instead of the all too popular Twi-lek trend.
This is stunning!

Amazing, full of emotion. The lovestory is one of the most important, if not THE most important thing in the saga. And you got it all here: beauty, sadness, the little humane things that Vader still clings on. The guilt, which must be terrible but which, at the same time, makes him human, is wonderfully captured here. Good job!
Sorry for the overly emotional comment...

Thank you so much. Don't apologize for that. It's EXACTLY what I was going for. I have trouble verbalizing emotion so I try to capture in painting. You nailed it
